Introduction
Here in Brighton (10th year) Healthy Concerts friendly open
houses continue to build a new audience for genuinely
unplugged acoustic music.
Healthy concerts are live unplugged (no amplification) gigs
in people homes and gardens with a natural and friendly
feel.
In recent years House concerts similar to our own have
emerged throughout the U.S (see http://www.houseconcerts.com/).
where they have been recognized by artists and audience alike

expanding network of listening rooms. A far cry from noisy
& smoky clubs and bars!

Luke Concannon (singer-songwriter with Nizlopi)
“Thank you for the idea... I wasn’t keen to
play in a pub or any other venue where smoking is allowed. “
Nadia Hancock (student at Dartington)
“As somebody who was new to the town and
didn’t know anybody, I could particularly appreciate the way
Healthy Concerts helped to get perfect strangers into
conversation in a matter of minutes.” Gerald Fiebig
from Germany
“Live music has never touched me on such a
deep level before.” Jocelyn Jones
“Warmth & hospitality is what one might
have expected from a house concert, but the sheer power &
beauty of the music original artists are creating comes as a
complete surprise. Worth far more than one is asked to pay -
Priceless!” John Wadsworth |
