"It is estimated that in one year alone Britain imported groundnut protein from India to the equivalent of a years ration for 13 000 000 children - and all to feed tormented factory farm animals, which never so much as see daylight until they are carted off, in fear, to be slaughtered. By feeding this valuable food to a vast animal population a loss in protein value in excess of 80% is incurred in the end product.
